
This is an information sharing event intended to help Hawaii’s varied communities be better informed and better prepared against online criminals.
The conference will bring together Hawaii based organizations as well as individual consumers and students to learn from a variety of agencies about how to better prepare against cyber threat actors.
Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke will open the conference. Experts from federal and state agencies will provide critical information that Hawaii businesses need to stay safe. Agencies confirmed to attend are:
- U.S. Secret Service
- Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
- Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)
- State of Hawaii, Office of Homeland Security
- U.S. Coast Guard (USCG)
- U.S. Army
Day 2: Presentations will be made by government agencies, technology vendors, local experts and academics on topics of interest to those working to prevent the impact of cyber threats. Special areas of focus will include digital forensics, workforce development, cybersecurity tools and human behavior. A panel on workforce development in the technology and security fields will be presented.
