The Hawaii Office of Homeland Security (Hi-OHS) is sponsoring a series of cybersecurity exercises aimed at building and sustaining capabilities within the state to prevent, respond to, and recover from a cyber incident. These exercises will test and validate a newly developed statewide cyber incident response plan template and will be aligned with the priorities established in the Statewide Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan. This event will also include a series of informational presentations from State and Federal cybersecurity experts.
Topics will include an update on statewide cyber planning efforts, the State grant program, the OHS Cyber Disruption Plan, and services provided by the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Who needs to attend?
The cyber exercise series is targeted for a broad range of government and private sector personnel that might play a role in response to a cyber incident, to include but not limited to: IT professionals, critical infrastructure, emergency managers, law enforcement, healthcare, and other individuals representing state and local government.
