The Public Infrastructure Security Cyber Education System (PISCES) is coming to Hawaii
PISCES is a 501c(3) non-profit that performs no-cost cyber monitoring for local governments, public utilities and rural healthcare. Metadata (no content) is collected from these networks and moved to a monitoring stack. College and university students perform cyber analyst work and help these organizations to avoid records disclosure, theft, extortion, and disruption of critical services. PISCES is active in 4 states and is expanding into Hawaii for infrastructure protection, workforce development, and research opportunities. The speaker will explain PISCES operations and its value proposition and engage in Q/A with organizations considering participation.
